Born in 1988, BRAINDAMAGE is one of the most long lasting Italian thrashmetal comobos ever and generally recognized throughout the scene as one of the most innovating, controversial and somehow underrated metal bands of the last 20 years.

They supported metal-gods as VOIVOD, KREATOR, PESTILENCE and toured through Europe and U.K. with KILLING JOKE, fighting their way through the old continent in search of the reconaissance they deserved.

Their first full-lenght was produced by Steve Albini, one of the many figures that revolved around BRAINDAMAGES history as Oliver Phillips of EVERON and Geordie Walker of KILLING JOKE.

Two decades of stops and goes, from dust to stars never managed to stop BRAINDAMAGE's will to tell their tales of futuristic, visionary and unspeakable depicting of a world oppressed by divine and human impostors. Their point of view is very critic, anti-dogmatic and fistrising against God and religion, NOT satanist, just trying to develop a neo-humanistic view of life.

After 5 albums and events that could sound too boring to be told, they met, at last, Ettore Rigotti, that revamped their never tamed efforts to reach the big audience.
New songs, new strategies and the feeling that the top of the hill is just one step forward, this is what is agitating the waves in BRAINDAMAGE's world. A new promo, after the good performance of 2009's “The Impostor”, is boiling in the cauldron: ready to explode, ready to fight and showing the world itself that BRAINDAMAGE are never going to give up.
